Ana Gomes and Isabel Meireles debate Europe's future this Monday

The future of the European Union will be discussed in the webinar that Antas da Cunha ECIJA and Jornal Económico will broadcast this Monday, May 25th. The broadcast will take place from 15:00 on the JE TV multimedia platform, through social networks and the Jornal Económico website.

The webinar, which will take approximately one hour, will be debated on topics such as the European Union's response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its economic effects, new trends in Community law, the rise of autocratic systems within itself Union and other challenges facing the European project.

With moderation by Filipe Alves, director of Jornal Económico, the panel will be composed of former socialist MEP (and likely presidential candidate) Ana Gomes will be among the speakers at this event, along with Isabel Meireles (PSD deputy), Pedro Madeira Froufe (director of the Center for European Law Studies - CEDU) and Daniela Guimarães (lawyer responsible for the European Law Department of Antas da Cunha ECIJA).

The opening of the event will be in charge of Fernando Antas da Cunha, managing partner of the firm, with the closing being the partner Nuno Vieira da Silva.
