Today, besides the Chinese lunar new year, its 2 years that i moved to Amsterdam. Coming from Mannheim (of all places... yes i know..., get that a lot, but everyone knows where it is) in Germany. Still wonder how i did let myself get stuck there. What was i thinking?Triple reason to celebrate today... Chinese new lunar year (the pig). 3 years of Amsterdam, 2 years that i was able to get unstuck, recuperating my "sanity". Was it worth it? my move to Amsterdam? Oh yes! Was it worth my German adventure(other 3 years of my life, first in Stuttgard... shortly, then Mannheim)... hmmmm... for the people i met(some), friends i did make(few but good), for what i learned(a lot) yes! For the overall price it had... not really. But made me appreciate better other things. Ps: 2 years ago today, the moving day, snow had fallen heavily in Germany and a few days later also here in Amsterdam. Last year today, snow had fallen also here but less. This year I'm just wearing a t-shirt inside the house and have open window. People in the streets are just with pullovers on... Global warming? nah!!!!! Whats that?Ps2: Hey! Almost forgot.... Gong Xi Fa Chai! (happy new year in Chinese or so i was told)
